עליתי ארצה מאנגליה לפני כ-26 שנים - דבר שרק מוכיח כמה קשה השפה העברית! ולמרות שאני חייה כאן רוב חיי, כנראה שעולה חדש נשאר עולה חדש כל חייו. לא נורה, התרגלתי, כפי שבאנגליה תמיד שאלו אותי מעין אני, כך גם כאן.
למדתי הוראת אנגלית במכללת גורדון ועבדתי כמורה לאנגלית במשך כמה שנים. בנוסף לעבודה בבית ספר יסודי, לימדתי אנגלית למתחילים בלימודי חוץ אוניברסיטת חיפה, האוניברסיטה הפתוחה וגם עבור טלידע של הטלויזיה החינוכית. האחרונה הייתה חוויה מעניינת היות והשיעורים נוהלו בשיחות ועידה טלפוניים עם קבוצות של עד כ-12 לומדים.
לאחר שתקראו את המשפט הראשון כבר יתברר לכם כי עברית אינה שפת אם שלי.
אולי תשאלו, למה דווקה את כותבת בעברית כאשר ברור כל כך שאת לא מרגישה נוח עם השפה הכתובה?
